About The Position

The Chemical Packaging Plant is a fast-paced environment and high-volume operation, responsible for manufacturing cleaning products for BISSELL. There are multiple packaging lines, which run up to 24 hours a day. As the Inventory Coordinator, you will be part of a collaborative team with opportunities for career advancement. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop by supporting Mix Processing, Packaging, and Warehouse Operations. In this position you will be responsible for overseeing the backflush process for mix processing and packaging, as well inventory management in the warehouse. You will be responsible for coaching, training, and qualifying other team members on technical skills and standard operating procedures while also providing team member feedback to support their development.

Responsibilities

  • Perform/manage physical inventory and input cycle counts.
  • Load/unload trailers per truck diagram, as needed.
  • Offload and receive bulk chemical deliveries, as needed.
  • Prepare waste shipments and proper hazardous documentation.
  • Use ERP system (Oracle) to look up and transfer items on forklift computer.
  • Lead the ERP system (Oracle) daily backflush process.
  • Reconcile inventory and sub-inventory transfers.
  • Review ERP system shortage report for discrepancies.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement and root cause analysis initiatives.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring a heightened focus on safety and reporting unsafe conditions or accidents.
  • Report issues when they arise – this should be done quickly to minimize any impact on the efficiency of production.
  • Coach, train, and qualify Warehouse Technician I/II associates on technical skills as it relates to safety, quality, and operational expectations.
  • Assist in writing and improving warehouse process documentation.
  • Ensure product quality according to specifications.
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area.
  • WIP reconciliation/Line Clearance.
  • Batching Lot tracking-work completions.
  • Work Order management.
  • Manage warehouse 5S auditing and adherence.
  • Control movement requests and tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
