About The Position

Behavioral Health Associates (BHA) is an educational organization that offers an academic learning environment integrated with behavior support services for students diagnosed with emotional/behavioral disorders. The goal is to empower students in overcoming challenges and creating new stories in their lives. This role is for a full-time, year-round Office Coordinator for the new PRIDE Program at Pottsville Academy, which is slated to open at the beginning of the 2026-2027 School Year. The Office Coordinator provides clerical and administrative support to the staff, students, and parents/guardians of the NOVA Program.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), required.
  • Strong communication skills, required.
  • Must have Microsoft Office/computer experience.
  • Strong telephone communication skills.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must be skilled in establishing rapport and maintaining a professional working relationship with students, parents/guardians, staff, and outside entities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in education settings, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain student records related to enrollments, withdrawals, and transfers.
  • Assist with new student onboarding and follow-ups with families.
  • Communicate student progress with students, parents/guardians, and home school districts.
  • Maintain accurate record keeping, such as daily attendance.
  • Work closely with the program directors to manage the everyday needs of the program.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Accurately file and manage paperwork.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Administration.
