About The Position

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum of two years of verifiable DOT driving experience.
• Acceptable driving record with no more than two points.
• Ability to meet all DOT regulations and requirements.
• Experience completing daily inspections and log requirements.
• Willingness to work overtime, nights, and weekends as needed.
• Ability to remain seated for extended periods while driving.
• Strong knowledge of dump truck operations.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and situational awareness.
• Ability to communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and crews.
• Strong time-management skills.
• Understanding of safe loading, hauling, and unloading practices.
• Knowledge of proper braking, turning, and maneuvering techniques.
• Commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport materials to and from construction sites.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Climb in and out of the truck during loading and unloading operations.
• Secure loads and follow proper tie-down procedures.
• Monitor truck condition and follow maintenance schedules.
• Operate in various weather and road conditions.
• Assist with seasonal operations, including snow and ice control when required.
• Complete additional tasks assigned by supervisors.
