About The Position

Join RoyalX, a division of DominionX, as a full-time Construction Manufacturing Driver in Richmond, Virginia. The role combines warehouse operations with driving company vehicles to transport materials and equipment to construction sites and clients. The position supports the receipt, storage, inventory, preparation, and delivery of materials while following safety procedures and coordinating with project managers, site supervisors, and other team members.

Requirements

Two to four years of experience in warehouse operations and driving; construction or manufacturing industry experience is preferred.
Valid driver’s license in the state of residence.
DOT certification.
Clean driving record.
Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and delivery logging.
Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks, including loading and unloading.
Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse and driving operations.

Commercial driver's license (CDL).

Responsibilities

Receive and inspect incoming materials to ensure they meet quality and quantity specifications.
Operate a forklift to load materials onto trucks.
Organize and maintain warehouse inventory, including proper storage and labeling.
Prepare delivery orders and verify quantities and specifications.
Conduct regular inventory counts and help maintain accurate inventory records.
Keep the warehouse clean and organized and follow safety protocols and best practices.
Drive company vehicles to transport materials and equipment to construction sites and clients.
Make deliveries safely and on time, following established routes and schedules.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety issues.
Maintain accurate delivery logs, including materials transported and any issues encountered.
Coordinate material requirements and delivery schedules with project managers, site supervisors, and other team members.
Assist with loading and unloading materials at job sites, ensuring safe handling and storage.
