Construction CDL Driver
About The Position
Structis is hiring a Construction CDL Driver / Equipment Operator / Laborer to support the installation of gypsum- and concrete-based products on sound control, resurfacing, moisture emissions, and related projects. The role involves driving to project sites, delivering or picking up supplies, operating equipment, assisting crew members, and performing hands-on construction labor. Overnight travel to neighboring states is required approximately one to two times per month. Structis is part of the MaxTech family of companies and works in the underlayment and sound control markets. Requirements
- Class A CDL.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools.
- Basic knowledge of reading a tape measure.
- Ability to drive to various project sites.
- Ability to multitask.
- Comfort working in varying temperature environments as required.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 80 pounds of product repetitively.
- Ability to travel overnight to neighboring states one to two times a month.
- Hard-working, goal-oriented, reliable, and punctual.
Nice To Haves
- Previous construction experience.
- Previous experience working on a concrete crew.
- Previous experience as a driver or equipment operator.
Responsibilities
- Support the installation of gypsum- and concrete-based products.
- Pick up or deliver supplies as needed.
- Assist other crew members as necessary.
- Use small tools and perform basic equipment repairs.
- Operate a Bobcat to move sand into the mixer.
- Set up the hose for pouring and connect it to the mixer.
- Finish poured Gypcrete floors.
- Break open bags of Gypcrete and pour them into a mixer.
- Carry supplies onto job sites.
- Drive to various project sites.
