About The Position

The CDL Driver at SRS ensures the safe, timely delivery of building materials to job sites, verifies inventory, follows safety protocols, and maintains high service standards. The role supports operational efficiency and customer relationships through professionalism, teamwork, and responsiveness. Drivers travel within a 200-mile radius, with no overnight stays, and may provide occasional yard support.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A or B with air brakes endorsement and a clean driving record.
• 1–2 years of relevant commercial driving experience.
• Ability to operate forklifts/Moffett's safely and work in varied conditions.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and read job-related documents in English.
• Must be at least 18 years old; 21 years old for interstate or hazmat work.
• Must pass background checks and drug tests, and complete E-Verify and FMCSA Clearinghouse verification.
• Current DOT Medical Certificate.
• FMCSA registration.
• Strong safety compliance, including inspections and adherence to DOT/OSHA regulations.
• Physical capability to drive for long hours and handle materials weighing up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and verify inventory accuracy.
• Ensure deliveries are secure and free from damage.
• Assess job site conditions to prevent hazards and coordinate material placement with customers.
• Document deliveries with photos in accordance with company policy.
• Load and unload materials using forklifts or manually.
• Follow applicable safety protocols and DOT/OSHA regulations.
