About The Position

Come join our team as a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Community Health Services- 2221 Hayes Avenue in Fremont. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced, compassionate NP, who enjoys caring for a diverse population of patients--including both adults and children. Applicants must have at least 2 years of experience. $130,000 base salary, no RVU's and paid malpractice insurance. As a Federally Qualified Health Center, our providers are eligible to apply for student loan repayment through National Health Service Corps (NHSC)- up to $75,000 for full-time employees. Other benefits include paid vacation, sick time, and retirement benefits.

Requirements

  • Current License to practice in the State of Ohio as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification
  • Knowledge of documenting with EHR- eCW experience a plus
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to critically think and problem solve
  • Reliable, professional, and compassionate

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of two years as a Psychiatric NP preferred

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with patients Monday through Friday- No Weekends
  • Perform Adult and Pediatric Mental Health Assessments
  • Communicate clearly with Providers, Patients, and CHS Staff
  • Follow all safety, HIPAA, and regulatory guidelines
