About The Position
This is a dedicated CDL-A account that is now hiring drivers for consistent routes throughout the Northeast. Drivers average 1,800 miles per week and are home every day with 2 consecutive days off. Freight originates from Perryville, MD, with deliveries throughout Pennsylvania, Staten Island (NY), and New Jersey. There are no New York City deliveries. Drivers return to the Perryville distribution center after completing their routes. This is a touch-freight position where drivers load and unload the trailer using pallet jacks and must be able to handle freight weighing up to 75 lbs. The operation runs 7 days a week, with start times ranging from 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM. Trucks cannot be taken home, and reliable transportation to and from the terminal is required.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A
- Minimum 3 months of tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to safely handle freight up to 75 lbs.
- Reliable transportation to and from the terminal
- Safe and professional driving record
