Local Class A CDL Driver - Dedicated Fleet
About The Position
Join a dedicated local fleet operating out of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. The role offers consistent daily routes, high pay per mile, and 100% no-touch freight. Drivers deliver in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, averaging approximately 2,268 miles per week, or about 455 miles per day. Freight is dry van, with all shipments requiring live unloads. Drivers must live within 40 miles of Shippensburg, where orientation is also held. Day-shift average weekly pay is approximately $1,635. The day pay rate is $0.75 per mile plus $20 per stop; the posting notes that the PM shift starts at 1:00 PM and that stop pay applies to the AM shift only. Night-shift average weekly pay is approximately $1,769, at $0.78 per mile. Pay is issued weekly by direct deposit.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A).
- At least 6 months of verifiable Class A CDL tractor-trailer experience.
- Reside within 40 miles of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania.
- Have an acceptable motor vehicle record and background check.
- Hold a current DOT Medical Card.
- Pass DOT pre-employment drug screening.
