About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Compassionate approach to working with people struggling with mental illness.
• Valid driver's license with no restrictions and a clean driving record for the last three years.
• Availability to work every other weekend.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in behavioral health services, such as Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Counseling, or Human Services.
• Some college coursework with prior training or experience in mental or behavioral health care may also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Care for clients in crisis or involuntary commitments during observation stays.
• Build therapeutic relationships and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.
• Work with a multidisciplinary therapy team and assist in implementing treatment plans.
• Provide feedback to improve the treatment process.
• Assist with group and individual counseling.
• Assist clients with daily living requirements and direct activities.
