About The Position

WashSmart Laundry is growing, come and join our amazing team of talented people and grow your career with us! We are looking for a Customer Service Representative. Our team members are responsible for the daily duties of maintaining high levels of customer service through offering a clean, safe, and friendly store.

Requirements

  • Cash handling experience required.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Able to work a flexible work schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Position involves standing for long periods of time, manual dexterity, bending, and lifting up to 50lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of commercial laundry products and payment systems is a plus, but not required.
  • Spanish bilingual skills are highly desirable.
  • Effectively communicate with clients and work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Build strong customer relationships quickly.
  • Spanish bilingual skills preferred but not required.
  • Payment system experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assists customers with the use of payment systems, machine selection, operations, retail purchases, and wash/dry/fold orders.
  • Handles customer questions/concerns and informs Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager, as needed.
  • Maintains a safe environment inside and outside of the store by following proper security procedures and prioritizing employee and customer safety.
  • Ensures that the highest level of cleanliness is maintained inside and outside of the store at all times; follows proper cleaning routines and documents completion.
  • Documents equipment and building maintenance issues appropriately, escalates and/or documents unsafe situations to the Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager on duty.
  • Maintains a good visual presentation of retail products at all times. Keep a thorough understanding of retail products and educate the customers; accurately processes sales.
  • Provides a consistent quality product to the customer by assisting in choosing the appropriate equipment for clothing and completing the order with care; completes logs accurately.
  • Addresses customer concerns and issues in a timely and satisfactory manner; immediately informs Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager on duty of any claims.
  • Ensure that all company policies and procedures are always followed.
  • All other duties, as assigned.
