About The Position

Perform jobsite specific tasks and manage responsibilities as assigned by the Superintendent.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with construction processes.
  • Ability to conduct jobsite safety walks and identify deficiencies.
  • Knowledge of safety policies and procedures.
  • Ability to maintain safety documentation (SDS book, first aid kit, AED unit).
  • Understanding of site security measures to prevent vandalism, theft, and damage.
  • Ability to inspect and maintain perimeter security fencing and gates.
  • Skill in maintaining jobsite signage and eliminating graffiti.
  • Capability to coordinate camera systems and manage visitor/employee check-in.
  • Ability to control site traffic and manage parking.
  • Experience working with contracted security personnel.
  • Proficiency in maintaining visitor logs and sign-in sheets.
  • Knowledge of erosion control structures and maintenance.
  • Ability to update SWPPP documentation in Procore.
  • Experience managing dewatering systems.
  • Understanding of measures to prevent silt and sediment tracking.
  • Ability to maintain current contract documents on site.
  • Skill in keeping job trailers, meeting rooms, and site areas orderly and clean.
  • Proficiency in maintaining various jobsite logs (RFI, QA, Submittal, LEED, Daily).
  • Ability to complete Daily Reports.
  • Experience managing jobsite facilities (dumpsters, sanitary facilities, water).
  • Skill in maintaining job trailer filing systems.
  • Ability to photo-document progress and jobsite conditions.
  • Ability to attend and take notes at Trade Foreman Coordination and Safety Meetings.
  • Ability to complete inspection checklists.
  • Willingness to complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned.

  • Certified flagger (for traffic control).

Responsibilities

  • Monitor crew counts on the jobsite, in the Daily Log on Procore.
  • Monitor equipment that arrives on site and note in Procore.
  • Monitor dumpster deliveries and exchanges.
  • Review project schedule weekly to familiarize yourself with processes of construction.
  • Perform jobsite safety orientation and track who has completed the orientation on the Orientation Log in the p drive. Upload the new log to Procore weekly.
  • Confirm subcontractors are attaching weekly toolbox talks to their daily reports in Procore.
  • Conduct daily jobsite safety walks using the Procore software and notify trades of deficiencies.
  • Report any safety violations to the Superintendent, enforce Focus safety policy.
  • Maintain SDS book.
  • Monitor first aid kit and notify Cintas is there is a need for refills.
  • Check the AED unit for proper charging. (Green flashing light on the unit)
  • Perform weekly Site Safety Inspection on Procore.
  • Take steps to minimize vandalism, theft, property damage or loss on the site.
  • Daily check and repair of perimeter security fencing and gates.
  • Maintain jobsite signage, posters and eliminate graffiti.
  • Coordinate installation and operation of jobsite camera system.
  • Manage jobsite visitor and employee check-in process (where applicable) and access through perimeter gates.
  • Control traffic entering or leaving the site and manage parking conflicts. Do not perform flagging of vehicles unless you are a certified flagger.
  • Work with contracted site security to assure they are monitoring per the Focus agreement.
  • Maintain visitor log and sign in sheets.
  • Inspect erosion control structures and coordinate cleaning as necessary; minimum weekly inspection and following any significant rain event greater than 1 inch.
  • Update documentation in Procore under the SWPPP program.
  • Manage dewatering systems.
  • Keep silt and sediment from tracking onto public ways.
  • Maintain current contract documents on site per current Exhibit D.
  • Keep job trailer, meeting rooms, site & ROW orderly and clean.
  • Keep jobsite logs current, i.e. - RFI, QA, Submittal, LEED, Daily, etc., as directed.
  • Complete Daily Reports when directed by Superintendent.
  • Manage jobsite facilities, i.e. - dumpsters, sanitary facilities, water, etc.
  • Maintain job trailer filing system.
  • Photo-document progress or jobsite conditions when instructed by Superintendent in Procore.
  • Attend weekly Trade Foreman Coordination and Safety Meeting and take diligent notes.
  • Complete inspection checklists when instructed by the superintendent.
  • Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the Superintendent.
