About The Position

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Possess basic mathematical skills
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in writing, oral or diagram form
• Basic computer skills; training will be provided as needed
• Must be good at communicating with customers, employees and vendors in person, on the phone and via electronic tools such as e-mail and text messaging
• Driver's License & clean driving record required
• Minimum of 3 years in the tire industry required

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience preferred
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Support many functions, including filling in for the store manager during absences
• Collaborate with Store Manager on the daily operations of the store and in the training, coaching, and managing of employees
• Assist with scheduling employees, completing time-clock reporting, and assigning work
• Interact with customers, recommend products and scheduled service
• Process paperwork and utilize company computer systems to help maintain proper billing and inventory
• Act as a shop foreman and as a service writer
• Answer phones, assist customers, and perform tire changes
• Provide hands-on support to front desk
• Cash out customers and support and conduct tire deliveries
• Perform duties of tire technician when needed
