Contract Analyst - Onsite, National Capital Region

About The Position

BluePath Labs is seeking a Contract Analyst to support a civilian client in the National Capital Region. This role involves providing contract administration and acquisition support, conducting market research and supply chain risk management analysis, interpreting federal acquisition regulations, and applying knowledge of government contracting practices. The position is contingent upon contract award, and selected candidates may be contacted if the contract is awarded. The Contract Analyst will assess vendor ownership, affiliations, capabilities, performance history, and other risk indicators. Responsibilities include preparing, reviewing, submitting, maintaining, and tracking contract and funding documentation, responding to inquiries, providing guidance on contract administration issues, and researching federal acquisition regulations. The role also requires using knowledge of government-industry relationships, contractor networks, commercial motivations, and industry cost structures to inform supply chain risk management activities.

Requirements

  • U. S. Citizen
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field
  • 11 to 13 years of experience managing Federal contracts
  • Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
  • Experience assessing contract processes and procedures
  • Experience applying government business practices to contractor management
  • Experience providing contract administration support, including preparing and reviewing contract and funding documentation

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting supply chain risk management, vendor risk analysis, or market research activities
  • Experience analyzing vendor ownership, affiliations, performance history, capabilities, or other risk indicators
  • Knowledge of government-industry business relationships, prime and subcontractor networks, commercial motivations, and industry cost structures
  • Experience supporting federal health, public health, emergency preparedness, or HHS-related mission areas

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify resources and collect, analyze, and interpret data related to supply chain vendors
  • Assess vendor ownership, affiliations, capabilities, performance history, and other relevant risk indicators in support of SCRM activities
  • Prepare, review, submit, maintain, and track contract and funding documentation
  • Maintain contract records and tracking systems and respond to contract-related inquiries
  • Provide guidance and recommendations on complex and unique contract administration issues
  • Research, analyze, and interpret federal acquisition regulations, including FAR requirements
  • Apply knowledge of government-industry business relationships, contractor organizations, commercial motivations, and supply chain networks to support SCRM activities
  • Use understanding of cost structures and industry cost analysis to inform supply chain risk management activities
