About The Position
Teaching PHY I21 and/or PHY I22 and/or PHY 201
Requirements
- Master’s degree in physics or appropriate engineering discipline with a minimum of 18 graduate-level coursework in appropriate physics and/or engineering courses; or master’s degree in a related field with 18 credit hours in graduate-level physics.
- A resume and cover letter are required to complete the application process
- Official transcripts required upon hire
- Employment is contingent upon Criminal Background Check.
- Employment sponsorship is not available.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience teaching algebra-based at the college level
- Use of microcomputer-based labs
- Ability to work with course management systems such as Blackboard are preferred qualifications.
- The teaching requirement may be fulfilled through a program of supervised teaching as a graduate student.
