About The Position

Teach courses in one of the following areas: Allied Health Science, Health and Exercise Science, Physical and Health Education, Sport Management, and Nutrition and Dietetics.

Requirements

• All faculty must have at least a Master's degree in the field/discipline in which they teach, with 18 hours of coursework related to the course(s) they teach.
• In some cases, subject to the Provost's approval, a faculty member may be recommended for appointment based on substituting significant experience for the degree.
• Applicants must submit an unofficial copy of their post-secondary transcripts with the application.
• If the applicant's official transcript is on file with the Office of the Provost, a statement indicating this must be submitted with the application in lieu of the documents.
• Official transcripts of all post-secondary coursework will be required upon selection for hire.
• Official transcripts must be sent directly to the Office of the Provost, Attention: Transcript Clerk/Coordinator, Campus PO Box 6910, Radford University, Radford, VA 24142
• Adjunct Instructors must attend a scheduled adjunct orientation as offered upon appointment.
