About the position
BioSkryb is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist (Europe) to join their team and provide application support to customers and collaborators. The TSS will be responsible for promoting and selling BioSkryb products and services, building strong customer relationships, and meeting sales targets. The successful applicant should have sales experience, preferably with an advanced degree, and knowledge in single-cell omics and genomic sequencing. This role offers the opportunity to work with a fast-growing company in the field of single-cell genomics and contribute to the advancement of genomics applications in various markets.
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed sales targets for assigned territory across reagents, instruments, software, and services
- Qualify opportunities and negotiate volume and contractual agreements for high volume opportunities in single-cell DNA sequencing sample preparation
- Provide reliable and dependable forecasting up to 3 quarters in advance
- Mobilize regional and international teams to ensure the correct information and tools are provided to generate leads and work opportunities to commercial success
- Implement a sales territory plan for assigned territory, focusing on high-value markets and segments
- Enhance customer satisfaction and increase competitive advantage through consultative selling
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and references
- Drive advocacy for BioSkryb and increase utilization of products and services through hosting seminars/webinars and accessing key consortia
- Develop and integrate an effective portfolio business plan with appropriate team members
- Perform pre-call planning and coordination with Field Application Specialists for increased sales effectiveness
- Conduct seminars/exhibitions and increase strategic partnerships within the market
- Communicate market information through business teams, CRM market feedback, and other approved channels
- Support team members to achieve company goals and objectives
- Daily use of CRM database for input and output of customer information to increase sales effectiveness
- Meet expense targets and budgets
Requirements
- Five or more years of sales experience with an advanced degree preferred
- Proven knowledge in single-cell omics, multi-omics, and spatial analysis
- Strong knowledge of genomic sequencing/molecular biology applications
- Meet or exceed sales targets for assigned territory
- Qualify opportunities and negotiate volume, contractual (standing orders) for high volume opportunities in single-cell DNA sequencing sample preparation
- Provide reliable and dependable forecasting up to 3 quarters in advance
- Implement a sales territory plan for assigned territory
- Focus on high-value markets and segments such as cancer, neurology, cardiology, immunology, bioprocessing, toxicology, and microbiome
- Enhance customer satisfaction and increase competitive advantage through consultative selling
- Build trust and relationships with customers
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with key customers and references
- Drive advocacy for BioSkryb products and services
- Conduct seminars/exhibitions and increase strategic partnerships within the market
- Communicate market information through business teams, CRM market feedback, and other approved channels
- Utilize CRM database for input and output of customer information
- Meet expense requirements
