About the position
The Sales Operation Executive role at Mintel is responsible for providing top-notch support to the global client base and collaborating with the Commercial team. This includes offering technical support to Mintel users, processing contracts on the Salesforce CRM system, and resolving basic technical issues. The role also involves ensuring clients have access to the Mintel Portal and the right content, assisting the Finance team with timely and accurate updates, collaborating with the Sales team on order forms and agreements, and working with IT and Product Development teams to improve processes and fix issues. The ideal candidate should be humble, a strong communicator, data-driven, and have a basic understanding of technology.
Responsibilities
- Provide telephone and online technical support to Mintel users
- Process and set up contracts on the Salesforce CRM system
- Solve basic technical problems within back-end systems
- Work alongside other members of the Sales Operation team to provide support on technical matters and redirect users to the right people
- Ensure all clients are able to access the Mintel Portal and login to access the right content
- Process client contracts in Salesforce and assist the Commercial team with CRM and Portal systems
- Work with the Finance team to ensure timely and accurate information updates for invoicing
- Collaborate with the Sales team to create order forms and agreements with clients
- Liaise with IT and Product Development teams to improve processes, procedures, and fix issues
- Assist in the strategy, development, and deployment of sales processes and procedures related to CRM, Portal, and Access Management systems.
Requirements
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with understanding data and drawing basic conclusions
- Basic understanding of technology
- Willingness to learn how the system works
- Ability to provide telephone and online technical support
- Experience with Salesforce CRM system
- Ability to solve basic technical problems within back-end systems
- Ability to collaborate with sales team and support them with order forms and agreements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure timely and correct information updates
- Ability to assist in the strategy, development, and deployment of sales processes and procedures
- Humble and confident attitude, willing to admit when help is needed and utilize available resources
