About the position
The job overview for this role is to support the high retention rate of Mintel South Korea subscription clients by providing best-in-class levels of service, data application support, and collaboration on research briefs and insight presentations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and growing Mintel's industry-leading client satisfaction and retention rates by delivering client work that showcases the value of Mintel solutions, presenting syndicated content to clients, maintaining a deep understanding of Mintel products, delivering advanced training, proactively communicating with clients, and managing multiple clients at different points on the account lifecycle. Additionally, the candidate will partner with the account management team to ensure a 'retain and grow' plan is in place with each client and provide client feedback to internal teams for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Deliver client work that showcases the value of Mintel solutions to secure and grow partnerships
- Respond to client briefs and prepare analyses using Mintel's syndicated content
- Present syndicated content to clients in an interactive and confident manner
- Maintain a deep understanding of Mintel products and their value to clients
- Provide advanced training of Mintel products to showcase their benefits
- Respond to client questions and provide guidance on navigating the system
- Proactively communicate with clients about relevant product features and insights
- Manage multiple clients at different points in the account lifecycle
- Partner with the account management team to develop retain and grow plans for each client
- Identify renewal risks and work with account managers to eliminate them
- Advocate for clients in internal discussions and provide feedback on Mintel products
- Collaborate with the client success team on new training materials and service activities
- Log all service activities on the CRM system and provide detailed feedback following client engagement
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant experience in a B2B research or professional services environment, preferably in the FMCG industry (food and drinks or beauty and personal care)
- Passion and knowledge for the world of FMCG
- Client-obsessed and driven to help clients achieve success
- Ability to deliver client work that showcases the value of Mintel solutions
- Proficiency in English and native speaker of Korean with first-class communication skills
- Great verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to different clients and internal business partners
- Ability to identify potential growth opportunities and pitch products
- Maintain high client satisfaction and retention rates
- Deep understanding of Mintel products and their value to clients
- Ability to deliver advanced training of Mintel products
- Proactive communication with clients about relevant product features and insights
- Ability to manage multiple clients at different points in the account lifecycle
- Collaborate with account management team to develop retain and grow plans for each client
- Identify renewal risks and work actively to eliminate them
- Provide client feedback to sales, product development, content, and marketing teams
- Efficiently log all service activities on CRM system
