About the position
The Sales Manager, ForbesLive is a strategic role within the ForbesLive department, responsible for supporting the revenue growth of the ForbesLive platform. This role involves collaborating with the ForbesLive and Integrated Sales team to drive innovation and growth for the ForbesLive business and expand the global events footprint. The Sales Manager will also be responsible for building and managing prospect lists, tracking revenue, overseeing event contracts, and creating marketing materials. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in sales, events, or partnership roles and possess strong client relationship-building skills.

Requirements
- 3-5 years' experience in sales, events, or partnership role
- Ability to build and foster strong client relationships
- Self-starter who is proactive and eager to drive business results
- Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills, both internally and externally
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Suite and Google Docs/Sheets
- Knowledge of sales development tools, such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Media Radar, etc.
- Willing to travel and work nights and weekends when needed
- Proactive, highly organized and extremely detail-oriented
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work cross-departmentally, and in a client-facing capacity
- Maintains composure under pressure and highly adaptable
- Self-starter who will bring new, relevant ideas and concepts to the team
