Producer

The job overview for this position is to take full ownership of live event video projects, including panel conversations, presentations, interviews, and marketing assets. The ideal candidate should have 3-5+ years of experience producing premium editorial video, possess a strong sense of story, and be extremely organized to handle multiple projects simultaneously. They should also be able to create high production value even with small budgets, be well-versed in social media, and have knowledge of the digital video business ecosystem.

• Take full ownership of live event video projects from conception to publish
• Produce live event panel conversations and presentations
• Create longform compilations and interviews
• Compile archival clips
• Create sizzle reels, teasers, and trailers
• Develop marketing assets
• Work closely with Sr. Producer, Live team, and Social team to understand each event and execute video deliverables
• Manage video production and logistics on assigned projects
• Schedule resources such as crew, equipment, and talent/subjects
• Book travel for video production
• Create and distribute call sheets
• Rent equipment for video shoots
• Provide on-set management and direction
• Create SOWs for contractors and route executed documents to legal
• Assist video editors and manage timelines to ensure project deadlines are met
• Maintain quality, style, and aesthetic standards as directed by Creative Director of Video and Sr. Video Director/Editors
• Coordinate with Senior Video Director and Motion Designer to assign and create necessary graphics
• Write scripts and select soundbites for compilations and other editorial initiatives
• Work on multiple productions simultaneously
• Maintain a database of vetted freelancers (DP, Editor, Producer) and engage them when necessary
• Manage pre-production, production, post-production, and publishing logistics and deliverables
• Maintain a searchable content archive for easy access and utilization
• Innovate on uses for archival content to extend the value of core video assets
• Ensure proper media management for staff and contract crew
• Possess 3-5+ years of experience producing premium editorial video in a fast-paced, digital publishing or streaming environment
• Have a demonstrable history of creating exceptional video from concept through delivery
• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders
• Be extremely organized and able to handle multiple simultaneous projects
• Create high production value even with small budgets
• Remain calm under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Be well-versed in social media on all relevant platforms
• Have knowledge of the digital video business ecosystem
• Be ambitious and adaptable to evolving media trends.

• Annual base salary range of $70,000 - $85,000
• Flexibility in work schedule with a hybrid work schedule and potential for fully remote roles within the U.S.
