About the position
The Sales Director role at BVNK is a key position within the Commercial team, responsible for driving revenue growth across all product lines. The successful candidate will be tasked with acquiring and maintaining relationships with clients in the financial sector, understanding their needs and identifying opportunities for BVNK to add value. They will work closely with the commercial lead to develop a pipeline of clients and implement a commercial strategy for targeted verticals. With a strong network and industry knowledge, the Sales Director will generate leads, close deals, and provide accurate sales forecasts and performance analysis. Additionally, they will act as a point of contact for product managers, actively engage with industry news and events, and represent the business in all client dealings.
Responsibilities
- Increase revenue for BVNK across all product lines
- Acquire and maintain relationships with clients in financial verticals
- Understand the needs of clients at every stage of their development and consider how BVNK may continue to add value while also evaluating competitor activities
- Work with commercial lead to build and manage pipeline of clients as well as developing the commercial strategy for adequate coverage of targeted verticals
- Utilize extensive network and industry knowledge to identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging network of contacts to generate leads and close deals
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis
- Be the commercial point of contact for product managers to understand customer pain points, product requests, and feedback
- Actively involved with industry news, conferences, and events and thus being a credible ambassador for the business in all dealings with clients
Requirements
- 5+ years of sales/business development experience
- Experience developing business within financial sectors
- Successful track record for managing relationships and closing business
- Experienced in successfully managing multiple projects at the same time
- Experienced with MEDDIC or similar Sales Methodology
