Senior QA Engineer

The Senior QA Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and developing the testing solution and coverage in various teams/products. They will contribute to API backend testing using Postman and automation tools, develop and execute API tests, troubleshoot issues, and analyze testing metrics. The ideal candidate should have experience in API testing methodologies, strong organizational and time-management skills, and a background in testing or QA within the technology or FinTech industry. Knowledge of cryptocurrency, DeFi, or neo-banking is desirable.

• Maintenance and ongoing development of the testing solution and coverage in various teams/products
• Contributing and supporting the solutions in the engineering teams to release at pace with excellent quality using automation and other supporting tools
• API backend testing (REST services) using Postman and automation tools
• Contribute to API automation repository
• Develop and execute API tests using Postman or automation tools
• Identify, design, develop, execute, and maintain automation scripts/code
• Identify testing deficiencies and implement API tests based on requirements
• Develop status reports based on test completion/findings and communicate them to teams, including any impact on the overall project plan
• Troubleshoot issues experienced during testing
• Test case management, creation, and execution
• Prioritization of tasks and identification of items requiring escalation
• Analyze and capture testing metrics

• Well experienced in API testing methodologies
• Great organisational and time-management skills
• Has previously worked within a testing or QA function in a Tec or FinTech business
• Complete understanding of data important in producing a quality QA process
• Strong basis in programming
• Knowledgeable about cryptocurrency, DeFi or neo-banking (desirable)
• Understanding of capital markets (desirable)
• Demonstrable experience in working with complex systems, including the ability to present them to a non-expert, preferably in crypto, gaming (desirable)
