Project Manager, People & Culture

Alma is seeking a Project Manager to join their People & Culture team. The role involves leading project management efforts for HR initiatives, from conception to completion. The ideal candidate is an HR professional with strong critical thinking skills and prior project experience. Responsibilities include task tracking, data and workflow analysis, developing project plans, communicating with stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement. The candidate should have experience in HR or project management, proficiency in HRIS tools and project management software, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to prioritize and organize tasks.

• Lead project management efforts for HR initiatives, including task tracking, documenting, monitoring timelines, reviewing resource needs, escalating risks as appropriate, and driving to project completion
• Provide on-the-ground support to help execute the planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities
• Perform data and workflow analysis to determine best solutions for HR processes
• Develop detailed project plans, route deliverables, supply status reports, and supervise implementation of key initiatives
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and facilitate cross functional team meetings
• Establish, cultivate and maintain strong working relationships within the People & Culture organization and ensure a clear understanding of operational objectives relative to projects
• Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating HR processes and procedures and proposing solutions that will better meet the needs of the organization

• 3+ years of Human Resources, Project Management or related experience
• Experience utilizing HRIS's such as ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS tools
• Experience leading and managing projects or project teams, in ASANA or similar project management tools
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with attention to detail
• Analytical mindset and proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
• Experience navigating and mitigating risks associated with project management including scheduling, resources, and stakeholder management
• Ability to present ideas and bodies of work to small and large audiences
• Self-directed with the ability to set priorities, plan, and organize tasks and deliverables as needs evolve
• Deep understanding and knowledge of HR processes and procedures
