About the position
We are seeking an SEO Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of search engine optimization for Alma. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing SEO strategies, conducting keyword research, optimizing content, and improving organic search and social growth. The SEO Manager will work closely with various teams to drive the growth of organic traffic and enhance key performance indicators. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in SEO and a strong understanding of technical SEO best practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute SEO technical, content, and backlinking best practices and strategies.
- Define organic search and social growth strategy in collaboration with Content Marketing, Demand Generation, and Consumer Growth Marketing teams.
- Conduct keyword research and create SEO-optimized content briefs for the Content Marketing team.
- Regularly evaluate the website for technical SEO problems and implement necessary solutions.
- Lead off-page optimization projects, such as link-building.
- Gather data, generate reports, examine patterns, and evaluate performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with social media and pay per click (PPC) programs to optimize campaigns.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience as SEO Manager or similar role
- Solid understanding of both traditional and up-to-date SEO techniques
- Skills to effectively manage reporting, communicate performance metrics, track key KPIs, and provide optimization reports
- Expertise in SEMrush and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
- Understanding of HTML/CSS and Javascript
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Analytical mindset with numerical aptitude
