About the position
Join our mission-driven, venture-backed team as a Clinical Robot Associate in Pontiac, MI. As part of our founding operations team, you will work alongside hospital staff and our engineering team to ensure the safe and effective use of robots in real-world hospital environments. This part-time role involves monitoring and assisting mobile service robots, collecting data, troubleshooting, and prioritizing the customer experience. No engineering background is required, but excellent communication and organizational skills are essential. If you have a customer-service orientation and can work varying shift times, including nights and weekends, you may be a great fit for this role.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and safely assisting mobile service robots in a hospital environment
- Collecting data and troubleshooting in a variety of real-world situations, while simultaneously providing detailed and accurate feedback to our engineers
- Prioritizing the customer experience, ensuring their expectations are always met or exceeded
- Communicating with hospital staff and, occasionally, the public regarding robot operation
Requirements
- A high school graduate or possess a GED
- Customer-service oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organized and able to multitask
- Self-sufficient and able to make quick decisions independently
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds
- Willing to work varying shift times including nights and weekends
- Willing to work during significant holidays
- Must be local to Pontiac, MI
