About the position
Join our mission-driven, venture-backed team as a Clinical Robot Associate at Diligent Robotics. In this part-time role, you will work alongside hospital staff and our engineering team to ensure the safe and efficient use of service robots in real-world hospital environments. As part of the founding operations team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the design and implementation of processes as the organization scales. No background in robotics or engineering is required, but excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills are essential. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of the future of robotics in healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and safely assisting mobile service robots in a hospital environment
- Collecting data and troubleshooting in a variety of real-world situations, while simultaneously providing detailed and accurate feedback to our engineers
- Prioritizing the customer experience, ensuring their expectations are always met or exceeded
- Communicating with hospital staff and, occasionally, the public regarding robot operation
Requirements
- A high school graduate or possess a GED
- Customer-service oriented: friendly, skilled in de-escalation, and able to handle customer demands
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organized and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Self-sufficient and able to make quick decisions independently
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds
- Willing to work varying shift times including nights and weekends
- Willing to work during significant holidays
- Must be local to Naperville, IL
