About the position
As a Clinical Robot Associate at Diligent Robotics, you will be part of the founding operations team responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of robots in real-world hospital environments. Your role will involve monitoring and assisting mobile service robots, collecting data, troubleshooting, and providing feedback to the engineering team. Excellent communication skills and a customer-service oriented mindset are essential for prioritizing the customer experience and maintaining strong relationships with hospital staff. This part-time position in Rochester, NY offers the opportunity to contribute to the development and scaling of processes within a mission-driven, venture-backed organization. No background in robotics or engineering is required, making this role suitable for individuals with outstanding customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and safely assisting mobile service robots in a hospital environment
- Collecting data and troubleshooting in a variety of real-world situations, while simultaneously providing detailed and accurate feedback to our engineers
- Prioritizing the customer experience, ensuring their expectations are always met or exceeded
- Communicating with hospital staff and, occasionally, the public regarding robot operation
Requirements
- A high school graduate or possess a GED
- Customer-service oriented: friendly, skilled in de-escalation, and able to handle customer demands
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organized and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Self-sufficient and able to make quick decisions independently
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds
- Willing to work varying shift times including nights and weekends
- Willing to work during significant holidays
