About the position
As a Clinical Robot Associate at Diligent Robotics, you will be part of the founding operations team responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient use of service robots in hospital environments. Your role will involve monitoring and assisting mobile robots, collecting data, troubleshooting, and providing feedback to the engineering team. Excellent communication skills and a customer-service oriented mindset are essential for this entry-level position. You will also be involved in designing and implementing processes as the organization scales. This part-time role requires flexibility in working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. A background in robotics or engineering is not required.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and safely assisting mobile service robots in a hospital environment
- Collecting data and troubleshooting in a variety of real-world situations, while simultaneously providing detailed and accurate feedback to our engineers
- Prioritizing the customer experience, ensuring their expectations are always met or exceeded
- Communicating with hospital staff and, occasionally, the public regarding robot operation
Requirements
- A high school graduate or possess a GED
- Customer-service oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communicator
- Organized
- Self-sufficient
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds
- Able to work varying shift times including nights and weekends
- Willing to work during significant holidays
