About the position
We are seeking an experienced Sales professional to join our Sales leadership team at Unit21. As a leader in the rapidly growing Fintech space, Unit21 provides flexible and powerful solutions to combat laundering and fraud. We are looking for someone who can contribute to our continued growth and add value to AML teams worldwide. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing sales revenues, developing plans for revenue growth, and ensuring the readiness and effectiveness of the sales team. Additionally, we are looking for someone with a customer-centric mindset, a track record of meeting or exceeding targets, and the ability to attract and develop new leaders.
Responsibilities
- Effectively manage the sales team's efforts to maximize sales revenues and meet assigned objectives
- Develop specific plans to ensure revenue growth and attainment of objectives in all company's products/services
- Assure optimal sales team staffing and training readiness of sales professionals
- Monitor employee performance, counsel and advise to ensure compatibility, maximum effectiveness, and continued growth on a constant basis
- Interview, hire, and terminate sales professionals
- Establish partnerships and coordinate efforts with other internal organizations to ensure maximum effectiveness of the sales organization
Requirements
- 5+ years of sales experience within industry / similar technologies and at least 2 years in a leadership position
- Relentless Entrepreneurial spirit and desire to lead with excellence
- Ability to build a strong team culture, including creative thinking around pipeline generation
- Customer Obsessed philosophy
- Consistent history of meeting or exceeding targets
- Proven history attracting and developing new leaders
- Strong data-backed approach in leadership & interpersonal skills, coaching skills, cross-departmental collaboration, and ability to influence across organizational boundaries
- Experience in building and developing diverse and inclusive teams
- Proven experience and track record with solution-based approach to selling and complex sales process management
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
- University or Bachelor's degree or higher in related field (bonus point)
- Experience coaching remote teams of 5 or more direct reports (bonus point)
- Strong desire to learn, teach, and contribute cross-functionally (bonus point)
- Existing relationships within the Financial industry (bonus point)
