About the position
The job overview for this role is to proactively contact restaurant owners and managers to propose and sell TheFork products and services. This includes promoting and selling advanced software tools, booking widgets, training, and marketing solutions. The goal is to help restaurants understand the opportunities and benefits of using TheFork Manager tool and being part of TheFork network. The successful candidate should be a self-starter, results-oriented, customer-oriented, and have strong influencing skills. Fluency in Italian and English is required, and previous business development experience in B2B and the restaurant/hospitality industry is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Proactively contact restaurant owners or managers through phone meetings
- Conduct cold-calls and follow-up calls to present TheFork products and services
- Propose and sell TheFork products and services, including promotions, software tools, booking widgets, training, and marketing solutions
- Engage with restaurant managers to help them understand the opportunities, features, and benefits of TheFork Manager tool and TheFork network
- Follow up with prospects until closing the deal and successfully publishing the restaurant online on TheFork and affiliate websites
Requirements
- Native level of Italian
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Self-starter, results-oriented
- Customer oriented with strong commercial mindset and influencing skills
- Demonstrated business development experience, preferably in B2B and in restaurants/hospitality environments
- Comfortable in managing short-term negotiations
- Dynamic and able to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Great organizational skills
- Curious and willing to learn
- Previous experience with Salesforce is a plus
