About the position
This role at TheFork involves proactively contacting and scheduling meetings with restaurant owners and managers to present and sell TheFork products and services. The focus is on promoting and selling features such as promotions, advanced software tools, booking widgets, and marketing solutions. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong commercial mindset, capable of convincing and engaging people. They should have experience in business development, preferably in B2B and the restaurant/hospitality industry, and be comfortable managing short-term negotiations. This is a dynamic role that requires working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Proactively contact and schedule meetings with restaurant owners or managers
- Conduct cold-calls, walk-in visits, and pre-organized meetings to present TheFork products and services
- Propose and sell TheFork products and services, including promotions, advanced software tools, booking widgets, training, and marketing solutions
- Engage with restaurant managers to help them understand the opportunities, features, and benefits of TheFork Manager tool and TheFork network
- Follow up with prospects until closing the deal and successfully publishing the restaurant online on TheFork and affiliate websites
Requirements
- Self-starter, results-oriented
- Customer oriented with strong commercial mindset and influencing skills
- Demonstrated business development experience, preferably in B2B and in restaurants/hospitality environments
- Comfortable in managing short-term negotiations
- Dynamic and able to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Great organizational skills
- Curious and willing to learn
