About the position

The job overview for this position is to be a Sales Specialist who is passionate about tackling food waste and persuading as many local entrepreneurs as possible to join the Too Good To Go movement. The role involves working closely with Sales colleagues in other regions, reporting to the Team Lead Sales, and being part of a global team of Food Heroes. The main responsibility is to approach food-related businesses, such as bakeries, supermarkets, restaurants, and take-away shops, to convince them to join the app and contribute to reducing food waste. The Sales Specialist will have the freedom to execute the Sales plan for their own city and region, with the aim of increasing the number of Magic Boxes offered on the app and helping more consumers save food.

Responsibilities

  • Overtuigen van potentiële lokale ondernemers om zich aan te sluiten bij de app
  • Bezoeken van food gerelateerde ondernemers en hen overtuigen van het verhaal van Too Good To Go
  • Vergroten van het aantal aangeboden Magic Boxes op de app
  • Helpen van consumenten om eten te redden
  • Uitvoeren van het Sales plan voor de eigen stad en regio
  • Vinden van winkels die met voedselverspilling te maken hebben
  • Bezoeken en overtuigen van potentiële partners om eten te redden via de app
  • Begeleiden van partners tijdens hun eerste maand van het redden van eten via de app
  • Behalen en overtreffen van het aantal nieuwe winkels dat zich elke maand aansluit in de regio
  • Verbeteren van commerciële en sales vaardigheden
  • Werken in een snelgroeiende organisatie waarin alles continu ontwikkelt en verandert
  • Resultaten boeken voor de planeet door voedselverspilling tegen te gaan

Requirements

  • Commerciële mindset
  • Sales ervaring
  • Sterke communicatie skills
  • Comfortabel met face-to-face benadering
  • Affiniteit met food retail
  • Goed kunnen luisteren en empathisch zijn
  • Resultaatgericht en deals kunnen sluiten
  • Bereidheid om te leren en sales vaardigheden te verbeteren
  • Flexibiliteit en aanpassingsvermogen in een snelgroeiende organisatie
  • Woonachtig in regio Nijmegen/Arnhem
  • Passie om voedselverspilling tegen te gaan en resultaten te boeken voor de planeet
