About the position
This job is for a Field Sales Representative who will be responsible for convincing as many merchants as possible to join the fight against food waste. The role involves prospecting in the Lille and Valenciennes areas, building relationships with potential partners, and promoting the use of the Too Good To Go mobile application. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, independent, and have excellent negotiation and communication skills. They will also need to be willing to travel regularly and work closely with other departments to maximize results.
Responsibilities
- Develop a strategy to build a strong network of independent and franchised stores in the Lille region
- Identify prospects, store openings, sourcing, prospecting, references, follow-up, and revisiting of stores
- Map opportunities for Too Good To Go in the department and establish lasting relationships with potential partners
- Contact merchant associations and other potential partners to expand the pipeline of participating merchants
- Develop a deep understanding of prospects through field visits, phone calls, and other creative means
- Raise awareness about food waste and train merchants on how to use the application
- Be responsible for a specific region and be mobile within that area
- Travel regularly to promote Too Good To Go, including warehouse events, visits to surrounding cities, and occasional trips outside the region
- Monitor stores to facilitate their integration and maximize their impact
- Build a network of ambassadors and ensure they are using the solution effectively
- Collaborate closely with other departments, such as Marketing and Care, to maximize results
- Have a successful experience as a Business Developer with a specific scope (a plus)
- Have a good knowledge of the Hauts-de-France region (a plus)
- Hold a valid driver's license
- Enjoy working alone on the road and have a passion for convincing people
- Be independent, autonomous, and able to negotiate and present impactful arguments
- Have a sense of community and know how to engage people
- Be motivated, enjoy challenges, and be structured, organized, and rigorous
- Have strong persuasion skills and good listening skills
- Be resilient and willing to travel and stay overnight multiple times per month
- Fluent in French
Requirements
- Experience as a Business Developer in charge of a specific area is a plus
- Good knowledge of the Hauts-de-France region is a plus
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must enjoy being on the road and have a passion for convincing people
