About the position
This job is for a dedicated and committed field salesperson who will be responsible for convincing as many merchants as possible to join the fight against food waste. The role involves prospecting in Strasbourg and its surroundings, with a focus on building a strong network of independent stores. The successful candidate will develop a strategy to connect with potential partners, have a deep understanding of prospects, and spend the majority of their time contacting and engaging with merchants. The goal is to raise awareness about food waste and train partners on how to use the Too Good To Go application effectively.
Responsibilities
- Develop a strategy to build a strong network of independent stores in the region (sourcing, prospecting, references).
- Map opportunities for Too Good To Go in the region and establish lasting relationships with potential partners.
- Develop a thorough understanding of prospects by conducting phone interviews, going out in the field, or using other creative means to offer them the most suitable solution and convince them to join Too Good To Go and fight against food waste.
- Spend more than 80% of the time contacting merchants (in person, by phone, or digitally) and discovering new partners, raising awareness about food waste and training them on how to use the application.
- Monitor stores to facilitate their integration and maximize their impact, creating a network of ambassadors and ensuring they use our solution effectively.
- Have successful experience as a Business Developer responsible for a specific area.
- Have existing contacts with food stores in the Bas-Rhin department.
- Enjoy working alone on the road and have a passion for convincing people.

- Fluent in French and comfortable in English.
Requirements
- Avoir une expérience réussie en tant que Business Developer en charge d'un périmètre spécifique est un gros PLUS.
- Avoir déjà des contacts avec des magasins alimentaires sur le département du Bas-Rhin est un PLUS.
- Tu aimes être seul.e sur la route et convaincre les gens est une passion.
- Tu n'abandonnes jamais.
- Tu es indépendant.e et autonome.
- Tu es capable de mener des négociations, de créer et de présenter des argumentaires à fort impact. Tu as un excellent sens commercial.
- Tu as le sens de la communauté et tu sais comment engager les gens.
- Tu es motivé(e), tu aimes être mis(e) au défi.
- Tu es structuré(e), organisé(e) et rigoureux(se).
- Tu as une grande force de persuasion ainsi qu'une bonne écoute.
- Tu parles couramment français et es à l'aise en anglais.
