About the position
As a Business Development Associate for Axios HQ, you will play a crucial role in securing, maintaining, and expanding the customer base through strategic outreach and exceptional service. With a focus on revenue growth, you will identify and develop new opportunities while upholding the mission and values of Axios HQ. The ideal candidate should have experience in customer service, sales, or account management, with strong project management and communication skills. Responsibilities
- Serve an integral role in securing, maintaining, and growing the customer base with thoughtful outreach and exceptional service to potential clients
- Identify and develop new revenue opportunities
- Grow the revenue of the Axios HQ product
- Have a passion for HQ's mission and values
- Have 1+ years of proven customer or client service experience in business development, sales, account management, or recruiting
- Manage sales pipelines including researching, prospecting new business leads, outbound outreach, and prioritizing based on intent-signals
- Be detail-oriented with strong time-management skills, a competitive streak, and a natural inclination to push oneself to be the best
- Have strong project management skills and sales fundamentals
- Have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience speaking with clients on the phone being a plus
- Be eager for and receptive to feedback
- Proficiency using CRM software to manage sales processes and pipelines
