About the position
As a Business Development Associate, you will play a crucial role in securing, maintaining, and expanding the customer base for Axios HQ, an AI-powered software that enhances trust, transparency, and alignment in organizations. Your responsibilities will include reaching out to potential clients, identifying new revenue opportunities, and providing exceptional service. Ideal candidates should have a passion for Axios HQ's mission and values, along with experience in customer service, sales, or account management. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in CRM software are also important for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Serve an integral role in securing, maintaining, and growing the customer base with thoughtful outreach and exceptional service to potential clients
- Identify and develop new revenue opportunities
- Grow the revenue of the Axios HQ product
- Have a passion for HQ's mission and values
- Have 1+ years of proven customer or client service experience in business development, sales, account management, or recruiting
- Manage sales pipelines including researching, prospecting new business leads, outbound outreach, and prioritizing based on intent-signals
- Be detail-oriented with strong time-management skills, a competitive streak, and a natural inclination to push oneself to be the best
- Have strong project management skills and sales fundamentals
- Have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience speaking with clients on the phone being a plus
- Be eager for and receptive to feedback
- Proficiency using CRM software to manage sales processes and pipelines
