About the position

The Business Development and Channel Partnerships Manager at Xendit is responsible for generating a continuous pipeline of leads, creating partnerships, and nurturing relationships with channel partners. They will be the first point of contact for senior executives and working team members, representing Xendit and creating a positive impression. The manager will also identify and create opportunities for Xendit to do business with large enterprises, develop and implement a channels strategy for the Indonesian market, and ensure a mutually beneficial relationship with channel partners. Overall, the role focuses on driving business growth and excellence through effective lead generation and partnership management.

Responsibilities

  • Generate a continuous pipeline of leads
  • Spot opportunities to create partnerships and nurture relationships with channel partners
  • Be the first point of contact for senior executives and working team members
  • Understand prospective customers' unique needs
  • Identify appropriate Xendit offerings for potential leads and partners
  • Chart out the next steps to further grow Xendit's business with potential leads and partners
  • Open doors to Enterprises and develop sales leads
  • Identify and create an entry point for Xendit to do business with large enterprises
  • Effectively qualify and size potential business
  • Develop leads into viable opportunities before handing off to sales managers
  • Develop and implement channels strategy for Indonesia market
  • Identify channel partner value propositions
  • Sign up relevant channel partners that will deliver significant growth for Xendit Indonesia
  • Manage channel partnership portfolios through business reviews and partner engagement activities
  • Ensure a win-win commercial relationship for both Xendit and the channel partner
  • Identify opportunities to shorten sales cycles further and collaborate with internal teams

  • Passion for Payments, Finance, Software, and Startups
  • 5-8 years of sales development experience, ideally with an enterprise or scale-up SAAS company
  • 8-19 years in a client-facing role, preferably with experience in speaking with C-level executives
  • Understanding of APIs and ability to clearly explain them to customers
  • Prior experience in the payments industry
  • Positive and optimistic outlook, with the ability to handle setbacks and rejections
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English
  • Knowledge and expertise in the travel vertical in Indonesia
