About the position
The job overview for this role is to support Xendit's financing arm, GMF, by analyzing and assessing the creditworthiness of new and existing clients, designing and implementing credit strategies and policies, and developing and monitoring credit scoring models. The role also involves ensuring adherence to divisional policies and procedures, identifying and addressing potential risks, and monitoring portfolio performance. Additionally, the role includes responsibilities related to operations excellence, risk management, underwriting support, and process improvement. The overall goal is to contribute to Xendit's success by providing excellent credit analysis and risk management to support the company's growth and ensure safety and security.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing and assessing the creditworthiness of new and existing clients
- Designing and driving implementation of credit strategies, policies, standard operating procedures, and guidelines
- Building, testing, developing, validating, and monitoring comprehensive credit scoring models
- Ensuring adherence to policies and procedures for the smooth running of the division
- Providing feedback and recommendations on current procedural and policy gaps
- Identifying and providing feedback on potential risks and implementing proposed solutions
- Monitoring accounts and ensuring compliance with credit and compliance standards
- Improving current workflow for operations excellence
- Building underwriting models for various lending products and segments
- Conducting regular portfolio management and internal reporting
- Maintaining an agile credit policy for business growth
- Providing relevant credit assessment for pipelines and partnership initiatives
- Continuously improving the underwriting process as a process analyst
- Being willing to do end-to-end work to make Xendit succeed.
