AML/CFT Analyst

The job overview for this role is to be a part of the AML-CFT Ops team responsible for executing the alert processing portion of the transaction monitoring system. This includes conducting investigations on alerts, making recommendations for actions, escalating alerts when necessary, and ensuring the closure of alerts by coordinating with internal teams. The role also involves documenting all parts of the process for future review.

• Being the 1st layer of processing transaction monitoring alerts
• Conducting investigations on alerts, i.e. looking for unusual patterns, reviewing the customer's profile, and processing RFI towards the customer to the merchant
• Escalating alerts to relevant risk and compliance teams when necessary i.e. when there are irregularities and/or for new type of alerts, pattern, profile
• Conducting everything else required to close the alert, including but not limited to coordinating with internal teams and processing the approval for suspicious transaction reports
• Ensuring documentation of all parts of the process for future review, including but not limited to: Consoli

• Experience in AML-CFT alert processing and transaction monitoring
• Ability to conduct investigations on alerts and identify unusual patterns
• Proficiency in reviewing customer profiles and processing RFI towards customers
• Knowledge of escalating alerts to relevant risk and compliance teams when necessary
• Familiarity with coordinating with internal teams and processing approval for suspicious transaction reports
• Strong documentation skills for future review purposes
