About the position

The Account Manager at UnitedMasters is responsible for managing relationships with Small and Medium Business (SMB) clients in the brand marketplace. They will handle inbound leads, provide product knowledge, develop customer support materials, and maintain accurate CRM records. The Account Manager will collaborate with the product, marketing, and sales teams to improve products and processes based on customer feedback. Strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple leads, and a proven ability to engage and influence potential customers are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound leads, responding to inquiries via email, phone, and live chat.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the product in order to effectively explain the value proposition to potential customers and respond to customer questions.
  • Develop customer-facing support materials.
  • Keep track of all interactions with prospects and customers in the CRM, ensuring data is accurate and up to date.
  • Work closely with the product, marketing, and sales teams to improve products and processes, sharing feedback from customers and insights about their needs.
  • Requirements

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Proven ability to manage multiple leads and prioritize tasks
    • Understanding of CRM software, such as Salesforce or Hubspot
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
    • Demonstrable ability to engage and influence potential customers
    • 2+ years of experience in a sales or customer service role working on a software-as-a-service product
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • A passion for music and understanding of music licensing
    • Proficiency with customer support tools such as Zendesk
    • Previous experience in an account management or customer success role
