About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work with minimal to no supervision.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, handle tools and large objects, and operate carts and machinery.
• Ability to reach, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, talk, and hear for up to 8–14 hours a day.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Required vision abilities include close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain ice.
• Monitor mechanical systems.
• Complete daily checklists and communicate building needs and repairs to facility staff.
• Perform basic electrical tasks involving circuits, breakers, courtesy power, GFI, lighting, and changing light bulbs.
• Perform basic HVAC tasks, including changing filters, belts, and bearings.
• Perform basic plumbing and general building repairs.
• Maintain a clean environment for guests and staff.
• Prepare courts for volleyball and basketball practices, games, and tournaments.
• Assist with table, scoreboard, and bleacher setup.
• Charge remote control boxes (RCBs) and maintain their storage when not in use.
• Keep equipment and hardware in good working order.
• Perform general custodial services.
• Troubleshoot problems and communicate with management and peers.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of on-ice partition boards, nets, and related items when needed.
