About The Position
Abacus Technology is seeking a Contract Recruiter to provide direct support for large IT and engineering contracts through full life cycle recruiting. This is a contract position (LLC or Corp-to-Corp).
Requirements
- 3+ years experience recruiting for IT positions supporting Federal government clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Experience supporting a range of IT and engineering positions in support of Air Force programs.
- Significant experience utilizing social media to support branding and identify candidates.
- Experience working with a formal recruiting process.
- Must be able to work independently and make regular reports to the recruiting manager.
- Solid communications skills are critical.
- Must be a US citizen.
Nice To Haves
- Connections to local DoD organizations and associations such as AFCEA preferred.
Responsibilities
- Recruit for a variety of IT, engineering, acquisition, and management positions.
- Identify and screen potential candidates.
- Schedule and participate in interviews to evaluate candidates.
- Coordinate and attend open houses.
- Provide weekly and ad-hoc status reports on progress.
