About The Position

Abacus Technology is seeking a Contract Recruiter to provide direct support for large IT and engineering contracts through full life cycle recruiting. This is a contract position (LLC or Corp-to-Corp).

Requirements

• 3+ years experience recruiting for IT positions supporting Federal government clients.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience supporting a range of IT and engineering positions in support of Air Force programs.
• Significant experience utilizing social media to support branding and identify candidates.
• Experience working with a formal recruiting process.
• Must be able to work independently and make regular reports to the recruiting manager.
• Solid communications skills are critical.
• Must be a US citizen.

Nice To Haves

• Connections to local DoD organizations and associations such as AFCEA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit for a variety of IT, engineering, acquisition, and management positions.
• Identify and screen potential candidates.
• Schedule and participate in interviews to evaluate candidates.
• Coordinate and attend open houses.
• Provide weekly and ad-hoc status reports on progress.
