About The Position
Cornerstone Signals & Cyber Technologies LLC, teamed with D3 Air and Space Operations, is supporting Headquarters Space Force with a Foreign Space / Counterspace Intelligence Analyst for the Director of Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance for the United States Space Force. The role delivers authoritative analysis and comprehensive insights on foreign space and counterspace capabilities, particularly those of the People’s Republic of China, to senior USSF leaders and other decision-makers. The position is located in the National Capital Region, with potential work sites including the Pentagon, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Crystal City, or other NCR sites, and requires an active TS/SCI clearance. The analyst researches foreign space and counterspace capabilities, produces expert intelligence assessments, fuses all-source intelligence in accordance with Intelligence Community and USSF/S2 standards and tradecraft, and briefs senior leadership. The role also assesses global developments in space and counterspace capabilities, including emerging technologies, operational trends, and doctrinal shifts, and develops forecasts and recommendations to inform USSF strategic planning and policy.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Direct experience supporting USSF, Air Force, or related Intelligence Community organizations.
- Strong understanding of PRC and Russian space and counterspace programs.
- At least three years’ experience briefing senior DoD or comparable leadership.
- At least three years’ experience producing expert-level analytic products focused on foreign space and counterspace capabilities, with emphasis on PRC.
- At least three years’ experience conducting all-source intelligence fusion in accordance with established IC methodologies.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills.
- Demonstrated experience producing and responding to Intelligence Requests in a high-volume, rapid-execution environment supporting multiple senior-level customers.
- Expertise in one or more of the following fields: Operations, Engineering, Scientific Research, Analysis, Policy, or Technical Writing.
Nice To Haves
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Ideally 10–15 years of relevant experience in the space or counterspace community as an active-duty service member, government civilian, or contractor.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research, propose analytic topics, and develop authoritative intelligence products on foreign space and counterspace capabilities.
- Provide USSF leadership with timely, actionable insight into threats and opportunities in the space domain.
- Fuse multiple intelligence sources into concise assessments that meet established Intelligence Community and USSF/S2 standards and tradecraft.
- Deliver high-level briefings to USSF senior leaders, Space Staff members, and other DoD or interagency stakeholders.
- Analyze global developments in space and counterspace capabilities, including emerging technologies, operational trends, and doctrinal shifts.
- Develop forecasts and recommendations to inform USSF strategic planning and policy.
- Produce and respond to Intelligence Requests in a high-volume, rapid-execution environment supporting multiple senior-level customers, including HPSCI and SSCI.
