Powers Health is hiring a Telemetry Monitor Tech for the IMCU at Community Hospital in Munster, Indiana. The IMCU West is a multidisciplinary, 24-hour unit on the third floor of the Parkview Tower. It serves patients over age 12, with an average patient age of 67. Most patients have medical diagnoses, though surgical patients are also admitted. Common diagnoses include angina, rule-out or post-myocardial infarction, cardiac dysrhythmia, coronary artery disease, COPD, congestive heart failure, pre- and post-PTCA, post-stent care, post-operative patients requiring cardiac monitoring or observation, diabetes, CVA, and peripheral vascular disease. This role supports the multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality, cost-effective care. The position also routinely performs Unit Secretary duties as assigned.
