About The Position

The Monitor Technician interprets cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias, maintains telemetry supplies, and maintains patient records according to hospital policy. The role communicates with staff, supervisors, ancillary departments, and other customers; keeps the workplace neat and organized; maintains knowledge of hospital and unit information; and operates computer systems as necessary.

Requirements

Working knowledge of basic rhythms and arrhythmias.
Completion of a basic EKG/Arrhythmia course.
Successful completion of the Monitor Tech examination.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as a CMT/Cardiac Tech or Monitor Technician.
