About The Position

Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in psychiatric-mental health.
• Current state licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and national certification.
• At least 2 years of post-certification clinical experience in psychiatric-mental health.
• Experience with telehealth platforms and technology for virtual patient consultations.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication management skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• An independent collaborative physician arrangement that allows autonomous practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual psychiatric assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate medication management plans.
• Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications, adjusting dosages and treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with licensed therapists and counselors to provide integrated care.
• Educate and support clients and their families regarding medication adherence, potential side effects, and therapeutic interventions.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and comply with ethical guidelines and legal requirements.
• Exercise clinical judgment and autonomy in determining appropriate care for clients.
