About The Position
Rent.Fun is looking for a part-time mechanic to keep our lawn games rental stations in top shape! This role is perfect for a hands-on problem solver who enjoys working independently and keeping equipment well-maintained. This is a great role for someone looking for flexible, part-time work that gets you outdoors and involves light hands-on tasks. Perfect for gig workers or anyone looking to supplement their income.
Requirements
- A reliable vehicle
- A smartphone
- Ability to perform basic maintenance/cleaning tasks
- Comfort working independently outdoors
Nice To Haves
- Willingness to travel: 25% (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Conduct monthly equipment checks on our self-service lawn games station.
- Occasionally respond to urgent maintenance needs (if reported).
- Basic maintenance tasks like checking locks, cleaning stations, tightening bolts, and replacing signage.
- Use your smartphone to check tickets and update statuses.
Benefits
- $50 per monthly visit + one-time bonus of $50 after the first maintenance visit.
- Monthly bonus of $50 if lawn games are active at the end of the month.
