About The Position

Requirements

• Minimum of high school diploma or GED.
• Basic problem-solving using math and scientific principles.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and basic ERP systems is preferred.
• Strong focus on accuracy and precision.
• Effective problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand and follow both oral and written instructions and to communicate effectively with team members.
• Friendly demeanor and ability to work well in a team setting.
• Understanding of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) requirements for products.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of specialized training in a science-related technology or relevant experience.
• Previous manufacturing experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and install GC capillary columns.
• Utilize GC and custom software to assess GC column performance.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) meticulously.
• Track and manage raw materials necessary for the testing process.
• Maintain accurate records and databases, including Statistical Product Control (SPC) or other quality records.
• Evaluate product requirements and assess performance against quality standards.
• Adhere to safe handling procedures for chemicals and equipment, consult safety resources when needed, and follow Restek’s safety codes and regulations.
• Attend and participate in departmental and team meetings.
• Execute other assigned tasks as required.
